OLD PORT YACHT CLUB opened  her doors with a flourish in June, 1972 and was, at the time,
the only club of its type to be  built  in Florida in more than twenty years.  To this day, there is
no club that can compare with it's beauty.

Established - 1972
Designed by the famed 1970 America's Cup winner,  William "Bill" P. Ficker, a prominent
 architect in Newport Harbor, California.

Tradition and elegance are trademarks of Old Port Yacht Club.  Elegantly furnished and very spacious, the club was designed to accommodate a versatile environment that features a nautical theme with mahogany paneling, cypress ceilings, and oak planked floors. Informal dining is available in the Wheelhouse Lounge, with more formal dining available in the Lakeview and Lakeshore Dining Rooms.  All of which sit adjacent to picturesque Lake Worth and Old Port Cove Marina making it a positively remarkable setting.
The season starts off with one of the club's more popular social events, The Change of Watch Ceremony. Other activities include The Annual Review and Blessing of the Fleet, Commodore's Ball and many special theme dinners which include most holidays. Other special functions like cruises, sailing races, fishing tournaments and bus trips are among the list of scheduled activities. Committees made up of members assist and coordinate many events which make each one special and truly fun.
Old Port Yacht Club offers it's members and their guests a  warm, welcome, comfortable, waterfront dining, and the personal attention that can only be found in the finest private clubs.  Open six days for lunch and dinner during the season and five in summer, the club is pleased to offer reciprocal dining arrangements to fellow visiting yachtsmen.

(res-i-pros-i-ty)Defined: "The state of being reciprocal; mutual dependence, co-operation, exchange of courtesies or return in kind, ext. Reservation Reminder

Reservations are requested for lunch as well as dinner and are taken on a first come, first serve basis.  As we have numerous requests for certain tables, we will make every attempt to accomodate those requests, however, we must follow the policy above in order to provide every member the opportunity to sit at the most popular tables. Reserved tables will be held for a maximum of 30 minutes.

This time of year, EARLY reservations, (a few days in advance) especially for the special events, are necessary and are appreciated by the staff so that they can be ready to provide you with top notch service upon your arrival.Should you need to cancel a reservation or change the number of guests in your party, PLEASE, call the Club ahead of time. Failure to cancel within 24 hours of a special event will result in a "No- Show" charge. "No-Show"  charges are as follows: Special events - full price entree per person.     Sold-out events - full price per person.
Tuesday and Friday nights, we will offer two seatings; one at 6:00pm, and one at 7:30pm.   This is being done in an effort to avoid the "rush" we experience on those evenings,  and,   to be able to accomodate more members.    We know you do not like to hear the words "sold-out."
With numerous new wait and bus staff on the floor,  along with offering two seatings,  we are anticipating smoother and more efficient service.

I have enjoyed meeting so many of you over the last few months and I look forward to seeing you again and serving you in the future.

Sincerely,
Fernando Rojas
Dining Room Manager
